Description
The elegant and practical knife, simply ELIPT is the result of several years of development in the Mikov design department.
The knife is a combination of modern design, high quality materials and technical precision.ELIPT is equipped with a low-tipped blade with a bottom cut made of D2 steel in stonewash design. This steel has a higher content of chromium and carbon and thus gives the blade high wear resistance. Its hardness is 60-63 HRc.The blade includes a flipper for quick and safe opening with one hand. There is a gap on its upper edge, which simplifies two-handed opening, for example in gloves. Thanks to this, the knife is equally usable for right-handers and left-handers.The blade is mounted on ball bearings, which guarantee smooth operation and allows strong tightening of the handles. It provides the highest quality.
The knife is designed with emphasis on safety. Once opened, the blade is secured with a linerlock fuse which is suitable for both right-handers and left-handers. In addition, a ball is located on the fuse, which keeps the blade locked when the knife is closed and thus prevents the blade from opening spontaneously.
The knife handles are made of light and durable duralumin, which is provided with an ELOX surface treatment. This treatment protects the handles from the weather and from scratches.The handles are placed on steel attachments, have an ergonomic shape and allow a comfortable grip of the knife for both right-handers and left-handers.
The whole construction of the ELIPT knife is very robust, strong and excels in precise fitting. The knife is equipped with a belt klip that can be adjusted on both sides of the handle.
